OneWebDay is an Earth Day for the internet. The idea behind OneWebDay is to focus attention on a key internet value (this year, online participation in democracy), focus attention on local internet concerns (connectivity, censorship, individual skills), and create a global constituency that cares about protecting and defending the internet. So, think of OneWebDay as an environmental movement for the Internet ecosystem. It’s a platform for people to educate and activate others about issues that are important for the Internet’s future.

Deze werkgroep zal zich vooral toespitsen op de steeds <b>toenemende dreiging</b> van onveiligheid op het internet. Dit omvat o.a. spam, spyware, virussen maar ook andere overtredingen, die veel indringender zijn komen in aanmerking.

Het is de bedoeling om zo spoedig mogelijk een overzicht op te bouwen van alle e-Gov projecten die momenteel aan het lopen zijn. Ook de geplande projecten zullen onze aandacht krijgen.

Eenieder die een e-Government project ontdekt, mag deze hier onder dit forum brengen.

21/1/2004: Spoedactie tegen goedkeuring softwarepatenten in landbouwraad.
De Europese landbouwraad keurt maandag naar alle waarschijnlijkheid een omstreden richtlijnvoorstel goed dat Europese softwarepatenten invoert. Met een spoedactie roepen software-ontwikkelaars en -gebruikers hun landbouwministers op om niet in te stemmen met het alom bekritiseerde voorstel.
